Journal Entry 9
Feb. 1st, 2026 09:02 pmThe stars are falling. Catch them, if you dare.
We've sort of known this for a while, but it came to Out attention recently that our time of colonialism, subjugation, and fascism is a mere blip. Where We live now, there have been people living for thousands of years in ways that, while by no means perfect, were more peaceful, sustainable, and productive than how Our people live here now. The past few hundred years have been a dark period in history, but nothing lasts forever and there have, through this whole time, been people who know it is wrong. Humanity shall restore itself to its natural, loving place upon the Earth.
Last night, G visited with some furries and therians in VRChat. G was thrilled to be bale to present as a bird. I am somewhat disappointed by the premise: rather than Doing Nonhuman Things, these people Do Human Things, just in nonhuman form. I find it beautiful, but superficial. Maybe my opinion would be different had I experienced the species euphoria first-hand, but I do think that We generally are more motivated these days to Do nonhumanity rather than to Be nonhuman. Being is a sort of doing, but being alone gets shallow (and, I suppose, doing alone gets shallow as well).
We need to go find our what this star falling thing means.
